The Influence of Consciousness of Biomedical Ethics and Ethical Values on Attitude to Euthanasia in Nursing Students

|
This study was attempted to find out the effect of nursing college students consciousness of biomedical ethics and ethical values on their attitude toward euthanasia. This study collected data through a structured questionnaire targeting 115 nursing students from November 30 to December 21, 2022. Data were analyzed t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using the SPSS 18.0 program. As a result of this study, the factors affecting the attitude toward euthanasia were brain death in biomedical ethics, artificial insemination, and human life domain in ethical values, and the explanatory power was 53.5%. As a result of this study, it is necessary to develop systematic education and provide various programs that reflect biomedical ethics education related to life and death so that nursing students do not confuse respect for human life and values ??of human dignity.
